about
During the devastating fires in Australia in 2020, ERGASIA front man Tim Grey felt a large sense of helplessness and a massive urge to do something. He put his skillset as a songwriter to task and got to work on a song to raise funds for assistancefor those in need due to the fires. Unfortunately, due to personal issues, family issues, multiple relocations and equipment issues, this song ended up taking a back-seat but, with things settling down, 'Fall Into Me' is here!
'Fall Into Me' is an emotive track capturing which is based around the feeling of devastating loss but offers a simple message of comfort and release. Also, in keeping the heart of this project alive, funds from the sale of this song will be donated to Beyond Blue to assist with their amazing work for mental health.
lyrics
Triggered by this room and the embers of remains
Callous, tightly wound, a barren womb
Delay a thought for space, such a burden left to bare
An empty kind of sound that echoes, reverbing, confining
Alas in startled breath, of remains that's left here bare
Broken form of life, now altered
Carry on through sparse ruins of a past
Walls now tell of wounds, a broken spark, colour gaunt and faded
Fall Into Me
